Wellspring Development Foundation ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you contact us about donating, volunteering, careers or partnerships, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, organisation and message. If you apply to volunteer, we also receive the details on the application form, such as your location, skills, availability and experience. Messages and applications are delivered to us by email through a form-handling service (FormSubmit).
  • Donations. Online donations are handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card or mobile-money details on this website.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and the font provider, Google Fonts, may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiries and arrange volunteering, careers or partnership conversations.
  • To process and acknowledge donations.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and process donations, with people you ask us to share it with, or where the law requires it.

Participants, photographs and stories

We use stories and photographs of programme participants only with appropriate consent and safeguarding measures. Children's images are used only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Keeping your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, use the contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy and will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
