Every child deserves a strong educational foundation. Yet learners in underserved communities may face barriers such as limited learning materials, gaps in foundational literacy and numeracy, and inadequate support for academic progress.
Our Education and Learning Support Programme aims to improve academic performance among learners in rural and underserved schools, beginning with pupils in Primary 4 to Primary 6 (P4–P6).
We work with schools and education stakeholders to understand learners’ needs, identify barriers to learning, and support practical interventions that strengthen teaching and learning.
Our focus areas include
- Learning needs assessments: Identifying gaps in literacy, numeracy, learning resources, and classroom support.
- Literacy and numeracy improvement: Supporting initiatives that strengthen reading comprehension, writing, mathematical understanding, and problem-solving.
- Learning materials and resources: Helping schools address priority shortages of essential educational materials.
- Teacher and school support: Working with educators and school leaders to identify practical ways to improve learning outcomes.
- Progress monitoring: Tracking learners’ progress to understand what is working and where additional support is needed.
Our goal: To help more children develop the knowledge, confidence, and essential skills they need to progress in school and pursue future opportunities.
